BLUFF & SLOPE Considerations

SOIL TYPE: Is the property on solid rock, or sandy soil?
TREES: What kind of trees are on the property? Does the shoreline or bluff have mature native trees?
GEOTECH REPORTS: check to see if the property has one or if a neighbor has had one done recently.
SEPTIC: How far is the septic system and drainage from bluff or shoreline edge?
SLIDES: Look for signs of slides. Are there bare tree roots or sliding debris?
SIGNS: Is there any water coming out of the bluff? Is it man made or naturally occurring?
DRIFT CELL: Which way is the drift cell moving on the shore of the property?

ZONE: Is the property in a flood zone?
